If a teen is gay (yes, I’m still on this topic), is it wrong 4 a parent to not let them date sum1 the same sex
In teh beginngin when i 1st came out to my mom, she said she’ll love me and support me and all this hoopla. when i start dating someone the same sex, she like flips out and forbids me from seeing this person. at 1st he was a she (at least that’s what i told her), but when she discovered the truth she changed. is she making the rite choice in “keeping me from making a mistake”? is it rite 4 me to lie to my mom, who i’ve had such a great relationship with from day one adn continue seeing this person? she says its a hard life being gay and really she’s the one making it hard! what should i do? i’m 17 btw

It IS wrong for a parent to interfere and judge. If she doesn’t like him – for something he has done, or does – have her talk to him about it. It’s your right to date the one you love, regardless of gender, race, religion, etc.
Never lie to your mom, even when knowing she may be fooled. In truth, you’re only hurting yourself. Don’t make her problem yours. Prejudice is a sickness you don’t want. You’re practically a man. Stand your ground!

You are under her roof? Follow her rules. When you are 18 and move out on your own, you can do as you jolly please.
